Conference Information
IcBEST (International Conference on Biomedical and Environmental Sciences & Technologies) is a biennial international meeting with significant impact on biomedical research field worldwide. International Symposium on DNA Damage Response & Human Disease (isDDRHD) was first established by Drs. Xingzhi Xu (Beijing Key Lab of DNA Damage Response) and Zhao-Qi Wang (Aging-Fritz Lipmann Institute), which focused on molecular mechanism of DNA damage response and its clinical translation. The  icBEST/isDDRHD-2016 meeting, hosted by College of Life Sciences of Sichuan University, will be held from Oct 14-17 in Chengdu, a beautiful city with rich history and famous Sichuan cuisine.

The main theme of this year’s icBEST meeting is “DNA Damage Response & Cancer”, covering the following topics:
                                                 ●DNA Damage Repair & Cellular Response
                                                 ●Genome Instability & Human Diseases
                                                 ●Tumor Initiation and Develpment
                                                 ●Stem Cell and Cancer
                                                 ●Innovative Cancer Therapy


Dr. David M. Livingston

We are pleased to announce that Dr. David M. Livingston, Emil Frei Professor of Medicine from Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Harvard, and Dr. Qimin Zhan (詹启敏院士), Member of the Chinese Academy of Engineering, will be our keynote speakers. Meanwhile, over 70 world-known experts in the field, including several National Academy members, will join together to discuss the most state-of-art research in cancer and DNA damage/Repair. We highly encourage postdoctoral associates and students to submit abstracts and present their work at the meeting, which should serve as a bridge to communication with world-class researchers and colleagues
